The living body in its wholeness
Meet Dr. Myles
Hi! I'm Dr. Myles O'Donnell, DC.
They / Them
I'm glad you found me.
I'm passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies and well-being. I fell in love with the deep embodiment that comes from chiropractic care and the way it empowers people to reclaim a felt sense of agency in their lives. I'd love to share that with you.
My Story
How I found my way back to my body
I first received chiropractic care when I was 3 years old while undergoing chemotherapy for a brain tumor. And unlike my peers receiving the same chemical treatment but no chiropractic, I barely felt sick and didn't lose a single hair.
These intense childhood medical experiences, paired with decades of gender dysphoria, left me disconnected from my body. I didn't know that I could feel safe and comfortable in my body.
Through years of somatic training and trauma work, I learned to reconnect inward and become more embodied. I found Somatic Chiropractic, specifically Bio-Geometric Integration (BGI), to be the most effective tool for unwinding patterns of stress and trauma, and relearn trust in my body.
It has also allowed me to dance more, climb harder, lift heavier, and run farther without pain. When I’m under consistent care, my thinking feels clearer and I feel grounded, regulated, and better able to handle stress and strong emotions. Now I love sharing these gifts with people like you.
In my spare time, you can find me dancing, hiking, and sharing tea.
"I have never worked with a chiropractor before, and to be clear Dr. Myles is not your stereotypical chiropractor. Their knowledge of the human body is awe-inspiring. My work with them has transformed how my body feels, how I relate to it, my emotional state and strength."
